Not every lash or brow service leaves people feeling good, and not every training course prepares students for real work. That's something Uliana saw early on in her career, and it's one of the reasons she started Powder Brows & Lashes.
With more than ten years of experience internationally as a technician and trainer, she set out to build a space where quality wasn't optional, but one where clients feel looked after, and students walk away ready to start.
Five years on, Powder Brows & Lashes, her Logan-based studio, is known for both. The services are carefully delivered, the training is thorough, and the standard is set by someone who knows the work and takes pride in doing it the right way.

No, you really don't. A lot of people who train with us are starting from scratch. No background, just a passion for learning something new. Others may have done a bit before and are looking to build on it. Either way, you won't be expected to know everything. We keep the training hands-on and the pace steady so that you're supported from start to finish.
How long do your lash extensions typically last?
Our lashes last around four weeks, sometimes even longer, depending on your natural lash cycle and day-to-day. We've developed a special lash technology that holds up beautifully in Queensland's heat and humidity. They're designed to stay put and still feel natural, without you having to come in for constant touch-ups.
What if I need help after finishing the course?
Yes, you can, and it's expected. Since we've started teaching, we've made it a point that our past students can reach out anytime after they've finished learning with us. Regardless of whether they have questions or are asking for a bit of advice. So, if you need help, feel free to get in touch anytime.
Will I receive a certificate upon completing the course?
Yes, when you finish our course, you'll receive a nationally recognised certificate that shows that you're trained and ready to work professionally in the beauty industry.
Do I need to bring my own model for the training?
Not necessarily, we provide everything you'll need to get started, including your practice model. If a specific course requires you to bring anything extra (like a mannequin or toolkit), we'll let you know well in advance. And if you're ever unsure, just reach out, we're always happy to talk it through.
Do you offer payment plans for your courses?
Yes, we do. We know it's a big investment, and we want to make it as manageable as possible. Just get in touch with us directly, and we'll talk you through the options and help find something that works for you.
